Invest in Spain has prepared a “Guide to State Incentives and Aid” describing and providing a comparison of the many different programmes and instruments devised to boost investment and business development in Spain.

Worldwide FDI recovers levels prior to the international economic crisis

In the year 2011, worldwide flows of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) amounted to 1.5 billion USD, which represents an increase of 17% compared to the previous year and a recovery of the volumes of foreign investment worldwide to the levels of 2005, prior to the international economic and financial crisis. These are the preliminary data by the UNCTAD.

US computer firm CSC opens an Advanced Service Centre in Asturias

Computer Science Corporation (CSC) opened its new facilities in Asturias. The Advanced IT Service Centre, one of the eleven which the US multinational operates around the world, has been transferred to the Business Park of the Principality of Asturias, located in Avilés, due to the company’s growth in recent years.
