Knauf Insulation awarded the first EUROFINS GOLD standard for its Mineral Wool

German company, NaturalKnauf Insulation, with a major presence in Spain with two production plants, has become the first company in the world to be awarded the sought after Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold certificate for its new Natural Glass Mineral Wool products, manufactured using ECOSE Technology.

The certificate was awarded to Knauf Insulation for meeting all the requirements defined by the Indoor Air Comfort Gold standard of Eurofins and defines the Natural Glass Mineral Wool with ECOSE® Technology as an “extraordinary” material, in accordance with volatile organic compound standards for indoor air quality. The award also recognizes the company for heading a change towards the sustainability of materials.
