Investment capital at unbeatable rates:
A place to live and invest in. Extremadura does not have any large urban centers, allowing its residents to live in harmony with the environment, but also within reach of all the education, cultural and leisure facilities. All of this is especially significant if we take into account the low cost of living in the region related to the average disposable income.
The region has a high level of human and professional potential which has benefited from both its universities and professional training centers. These institutions have received support from specific plans to improve the quality of training and education provided by their staff.
Over 25,000 people attend the universities of the region, which offer courses in 119 specialized subjects in their 19 faculties.
Extremadura is located between the basins of the Tagus and the Guadiana rivers, containing one of the most important hydrological reserves in Spain.
These hydroelectric resources, and the over 2,800 hours of sunlight per year help to make Extremadura a net exporter of electricity, serving 10% of Spain's electricity demand.
Aside from this, Extremadura boasts countless natural resources which make it an ecological and environmental paradise.
Extremadura is located in a strategic position between Madrid, Lisbon and Seville and offers access to nine million inhabitants in less than one hour and a half by automobile.
It also has daily air connections with Madrid and Barcelona. The region is an access route to Europe and has established itself as the center of the south west of the continent with direct access to Atlantic ports and international airports.
