    Strategic sectors receive special support: Aeronautics, agro-industry, biotechnology, ICTs and emerging sectors, metal working and industries related to culture, energy and the environment.

    • Refundable incentives.
    • Discounted interest rates.
    • Participation loans.
    • Venture capital.
    • Loans with EIB funds.

    • Projects subject to incentives:
    • Business creation projects.
    • Business modernization projects.
    • Business competition and cooperation projects.
    • Business research, development and innovation projects (R&D+i).

    Aid may be awarded for up to 70% of the amount applicable for incentives.

    The IDEA agency is the sole entity for applications, the sole management entity and there is a single general procedure.

    Promotion of Employment Creation and Training in Andalusia

    There are various different aid programs in Andalusia to promote the creation of stable employment and offering training. Programs that may apply to a foreign investor wishing to create an industrial plant in Andalusia, are as follows:


    • Employment Creation Programs

    In general, there are aids ranging from €3,000 to €4,750 for every permanent employment contract created in Andalusia. Special emphasis is placed on areas with socio-economic difficulties where aid may extend to €15,390 per contract.


    • Training Programs
    • Occupational Training Programs.

      The purpose of this program is to promote job placement for the unemployed, helping them to adapt to the specific needs of the labor market. The program is linked to a hiring commitment.

    • Continuous Training Programs.

      Continuous training plans are designed to improve the skills and qualifications of employees as well as to bring them up to date and provide specialization regardless of the sector or industry in which the person works.

    • Continuous Training Supplementary Actions.

      Aid exists for projects for research and multi-sector studies or developing innovative tools and products related to continuous training and continuous training study actions.

    • How to apply for these aids.

      Interested parties should contact the Andalusian Labor Service, which is part of the Department of Employment, in the province in which the project is going to take place.
