Aeronautics

In recent years, Aragon has committed to the cutting-edge sector of the aeronautics industry. An advanced industrial framework, an exceptional location, a modern aeronautics infrastructure and important university research have made aeronautics a sector with a great present and future in Aragon.

Audio-visual

Environmental Industries: Recycling

European society has gained an awareness of the need to recycle in order to preserve the environment, and as an economic resource for obtaining raw materials. In Aragon, this industry has developed with the creation of integrated spaces which replicate the cycle of nature, as well as technological services adapted to the requirements of each product.

Aragon offers:

  • Large amounts of available land in sparsely populated areas with good transport links.
  • Recycling Technology Park (PTR): near Zaragoza, offering 8 million m2 to create synergies among companies in the sector.
  • Logistics location in the heart of Spain’s industrial region, the largest producer of waste in the country.
  • Important university research into recycling technology.
  • A new waste treatment center in Zaragoza: capacity for handling 450,000 tons of waste per year, 15,000 tons of light packaging per year, production of 25,000 tons of compost per year and 7 MWh of power production per year.
