The 41st Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be held in Madrid on May 3rd - 6th 2008. This event will bring together the main international actors in the development, economic and financial fields. Further information about the whole event at www.adbmadrid.org.

 

Spain´s Day will be held on Tuesday 6 th with several Seminars. INTERES Invest in Spain will organize a Seminar, "The FDI and the economic development: the role of the Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs)”, where we will deal with the growing importance of FDI in the global economic context and its impact on the economic development of the countries. We will also analyze the FDI evolution and trends, as well as the role played by the Investment Promotion Agencies. At the end, we will review the objectives, policies and strategies of these agencies, with particular reference to the experience of INTEREST Invest in Spain. For us it is an excellent opportunity to present our role as the national Investment Promotion Agency and our interest in fostering international debates on foreign investment and business environment.
