Events

The World Investment Conference (WIC) that will be held in La Baule (France) is a conference on "How to make Europe more attractive" gathering each year 800 persons, of which half are the decision makers of multinational enterprises and the other half are European politicians, investment promotion agencies and policy makers.

The conference consists of several events that are intertwined:
- the official WIC with the debate on European attractiveness centered on the debate of 'brainpower in Europe a driver for growth;'
- the California Tech Showcase, an event where 40 californian and 15 european start-ups present their newest technologies and internationalisation plans;
- the Euromed Investment Conference, a debate on how to boost innovation, talents and investments in the mediterrenean area;
- the Green Platform, a very selective forum on greentech developments.

Each year, there are special guest countries and regions, and this year Spain is one of the guest countries.
