Ernesto Medina, SCINET-CORP’s representative in Spain explained the choice of Gallur, “the existing industrial infrastructure in Zaragoza and its surroundings is very wide-ranging and communications to ports in Bilbao and Tarragona are very good”.
SCINET-CORP handles 140,000 orders for mini-plants each year destined for 60 countries and regions the world over. A range of portable and totally equipped production models will be exported from the center in Gallur such as: bakeries, drinking water and desalination plants, dried foods, pieces made from pressed melamine (cups, plates, bowls, coffee pots, etc.), plastic bags and containers, mobile medical care units, and medical products (hypodermic needles, haemostatic clips, etc.), latex derivatives, ground rice and other cereals, milk powder, steel nail production, tire remolds, shaped decking sheets, roofs and facade coverings, aluminum buckets, etc.
The Gallur center will give priority to suppliers in the region for equipment, raw materials, auxiliary industries, services, etc. required for the production, equipment and distribution of the finished mini-plants, the manufacture of which makes use of more than 2,000 different machines, equipment and installations. The production and assembly plants do not generate any type of pollution. The investment includes the installation of an operations center for the World Trade System, and the design and innovation unit for prototypes and auxiliary installations for suppliers such as generators, electrical control gear and control panels, metal workshops, aluminum profiles and derivatives, transport, automations, paint, linings and treatments, engines, solar panels, etc.
