Cimpor still views the purchase of companies in the concrete sector in southern Spain as the mainstay of its expansion in the Iberian Peninsula.

With this goal in mind, the Portuguese concrete company has bought Arenor Hormigoneras and 75% of Arenor Áridos. It has also purchased three new concrete factories, two in Seville and one in Huelva. Cimpor has therefore strengthened its position in Andalusia and bolstered its role as one of the foreign industrial groups that has invested the most in Andalusia over the last few years.
