American company Wrigley, owner of sweet trademarks such as Orbit and Solano, locates one of its R&D and Innovation centers in Sabadell. Along with the other two in the United States and Asia, it will be responsible for the innovation and development of products worldwide. The Catalan center will also house a plant devoted to the manufacture of gum base.

Sales of the company in Spain went up by 11% last year to reach 209 million euros.
