The Town Hall of Ciudad Real has given the go ahead to construction on the El Reino De Don Quijote tourist complex, which will include several casinos and leisure attractions.
El Reino de Don Quijote is a business project developing a “City of Leisure” made up of tourist, gaming, residential and leisure-time activities combining leisure, cultural, commercial and golf offerings.
Thanks to its strategic location and the originality and spectacular nature of its facilities, El Reino de Don Quijote is set to become a major new European tourist destination.
The project has been declared of Regional Interest by the Castilla-La Mancha regional government.
Construction work will begin first on the Caesar’s Casino Hotel, managed by the US firm Harrah´s entertainment, world leader in the leisure and games sector, which will generate around 1,700 direct and 2,400 indirect jobs.
