Spain receives 30,323 million euros worth of foreign investment in the first half of 2008. Foreign direct investment flows (FDI) arriving in Spain in the first six months of 2008 have kept up a very positive upward trend.
ArcelorMittal to invest a thousand million euros to enlarge its iron and steel plants in Asturias. The bulk of the main investments will be made in the enlargement of the second blast furnace in Veriña (Gijón).
